Guidance on using the Library's postal/copy/scan services

Returns by post

Returning books by post

You can return books by post to the Forum library.

You are responsible for the cost of return postage (standard post is sufficient). Royal mail "Get a price" offer an idea of cost (e.g. within UK, small parcel, value up to £20 and weighing 501 to 1000 grams).  An average size 300 page paperback might weigh 450 grams and a large 500 page textbook might weigh 1400 grams.  Book sizes and weights vary.

We suggest you obtain a free proof of postage receipt from the post office or delivery service.  Our library book return label and book return form below should be used. Complete the return form and place in the book. We will let you know when the book(s) have been received.

Returning recalls by post

Books are subject to recall at any time, including vacations on the Exeter Campuses. If you receive a recall email check the due date, it might have been shortened to 7 days.

If you are away from Exeter within the UK, return the item by post before by the due date because someone else needs this material for their study and or research.  If you have any problems returning the item, please get in touch.
