Finding and using library resources for assignments

As part of your studies you will have various tasks and assignments that require you to work with library resources.

It is easy to be overwhelmed by the sheer breadth of information available, and you can waste time if you look in the wrong place.

Before you start, you should consider three key questions:

  1. What type of information do I need?
  2. Where should I look for information?
  3. How can I search effectively so that I can find relevant materials for my research topic?

Work through each section and complete the activities as you go.

Use the next arrows at the bottom of the page to move to the next section, or the use tabs at the top of the page.
