From the 7th July, a new Web of Science search interface is being introduced.
This new interface aims to bring to the platform a personalised and intuitive user experience with:
• improved search capabilities
• faster page loads
• increased accessibility
• responsive design for viewing on mobile and other devices
This will run in parallel with the existing (classic) search interface until at least the end of 2021. A date for the withdrawal of the classic interface will be confirmed later.
A free introductory webinar on the new interface is taking place on 13th July, 3pm. Register for access.
Top Tips
1. Take Advantage of the Web of Science Training Platform
The Web of Science Training Platform includes lots of useful videos and guides to introduce you to the new service. You can find details there for forthcoming live webinars or browse through previous recordings of training events.
2. Switch between interfaces
For the moment you can switch back to the Classic interface if you wish to continue with that for your research activity. This Classic interface will be retired later - look out for announcements later in the year from the Web of Science Team. To switch back to the Classic interface from the new interface, select Products in the right hand corner of the screen, and then Web of Science (Classic).
