News Sources

LexisLibrary  provides quick and easy access to full text newspapers from the UK.

For comprehensive news searching, you should use the Nexis or Factiva as these enable you to download multiple articles from your search results list. Find out more about these databases from the News LibGuide.

The news function on Lexis enables you to search and view multiple articles but they need to be downloaded whilst viewing the full text article,  i.e. one at a time.

Therefore the LexisLibrary news function may be best if you are trying to track down and download one particular newspaper article or if you just want to view various articles online and have no download requirements.

This could be great for current awareness if you want to check in on reporting of legal topics in the UK news over the past weeks/months

Use the guide below to help you search the news sources on Lexis.
