The new Library Search is replacing previous catalogues 'Encore' and 'Classic Catalogue'. Please check your ELE pages and module handbooks for URLs to the old catalogues and remove these.
Send your reading lists to the reading list service to ensure your students have access to the resources they need.

This Summer access to Reading Lists will be affected by two sets of work:
1] The move to ELE 2
This will means that from 21st June we will not be able to add more Reading Lists to the 'Old' ELE - however we can update lists in our Reading List system and those changes will be correct when students click on the links.
After Go live for ELE 2 we will need to relink all our lists into modules as those links will break. We are recruiting staff to do this work specially and are confident this will be done by the start of the academic year. Students will not be accessing ELE 2 until September and can continue to use ELE 1 and our lists until then.
You can search for a list via the Reading list system and access it is this way also . A guide to doing this is available here Accessing Your Reading List outside ELE
2] The new Library system and Library Search [catalogue]
This is going live on 25th July and there will be little interruption between the old catalogue and the new one. This means you can search and find all our content the entire period of transition.
However the week of go live so the 25th - 28th July the Reading Lists will need to be transitioned to the new Library search and will take around 3 - 4 days to complete. During this time there will not be access to the lists but there will be access to the Library Search.
If you think this period of downtime will cause problems we suggest that you download your list from our system and make it available in your module by other means.
