"Walk-in access" to library electronic resources refers to a computer in the library which visitors may use to access electronic library resources, such as e-journal articles.
Search the Library Catalogue and make a list of the online resources that you would like to access. Please note that some electronic resources (i.e. Financial Times, i-Law, Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, some e-books or some e-journals) will not be available using this service because of license restrictions.
Please email library@exeter.ac.uk with any specific resource enquiries before your visit.
Users must sign in and register for Walk-in access each time they wish to use the service and provide ID ideally including photo and proof of address. You will be asked to complete a registration form. By registering as a walk-in user, you indicate an agreement to comply with the acceptable use policy.
A-Z of walk in access electronic resource providers
We try to make as much of our content as we can available to walk-in users. Walk-in users can search for content on our library search. Some content will not be available due to licensing agreements. Also, Walk-in users may find content on the catalogue that will not let them authenticate as walk-in users. To help navigate this there is a list of links below that walk-in users can use from the Walk-in access PCs.
