Alumni borrowing

You can pay a one-off £35 joining fee to become a library borrower by completing the Application to become a Library Borrower. (Please note: PhD and professional doctorate alumni are exempt from this fee).Any subsequent renewals are free of charge.

This allows you to:

  • Borrow 4 items at one time
  • Access the library between 8am-8pm, Monday-Friday and 10am-6pm, Saturday-Sunday
  • Access alumni online resources without having to register separately

Alumni online resources

University of Exeter alumni may register for free access to a limited range of online resources, which must not be used for commercial or business purposes. 

The full range of library e-resources is not available due to licensing restrictions.

How do I get access?

You may register by completing the Alumni Online Resources Request Form

We shall then contact you by e-mail giving you a barcode and PIN plus access instructions to this list of resources.

Which resources are included?

JSTOR Alumni - a shared digital library, largely concentrating on social sciences and the humanities. It currently includes more than 1,700 academic journals, along with many other materials.

Business Source Alumni Edition - providing business magazines and journals including publications in marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance, econometrics, economics and more.

Plus a great list of other resources covering a wide range of subjects:
