Alumni username and password links

Alumni log in with username and password

Our new library system requires all Alumni members to be issued with a username and password. This replaces the requirement for a barcode and PIN.  

 

To log in to Alumni borrowing account to view loans

Please ensure when logging into your library account to choose the Alumni login portal.

 

To log in to Alumni online resources

For most of the resources below you will need to enter your Alumni username and password at this prompt:

 

NB Alumni online resources access does not include the full range of resources available to currently enrolled students due to licensing restrictions.

NB If accessing using Chrome please right click on the links below and select 'open link in incognito window'

JSTOR Alumni - a shared digital library, largely concentrating on social sciences and the humanities. It currently includes more than 1,700 academic journals, along with many other materials. 

Accessing via the JSTOR Alumni link and entering your username and password will authenticate and give you access to the JSTOR alumni content. If you wish to, you can then create your own Jstor account. Click on 'Register' and then wait for confirmation email from Jstor before proceeding.  This will give additional functionality.

Alumni online resources and Alumni borrowing accounts - request forms

University of Exeter alumni may register for free access to a limited range of online resources (not to be used for commercial or business purposes).

Alumni can register for either an Alumni Online Resources account or if you are local to Exeter you can apply for an Alumni Borrower Account, which includes access to the alumni online resources but also the ability to borrow up to 4 physical items from the library at a time and swipe access to the St Luke's campus library during staffed hours.

Alumni access at Forum Library

Visitors should use the library during staffed hours which are currently:

9.00 - 6.00 Monday to Friday at Forum library

10.00 - 6.00 Saturdays to Sundays at Forum library

10.00 - 4.00 Monday to Friday at St Luke's Library (Haighton)

9.00 - 6.00 Monday to Friday at Old Library (enquiries to staff at Forum library)

Please email library@exeter.ac.uk in advance of your visit if you have any special requirements.

NB Please note that Haighton library is only open to registered visitors as a card is required for swipe access to the internal gates.
