Navigating university digital systems

Understanding how to use Exeter's core digital platforms will improve your academic experience. 

Getting started 

  • If you have not already, familiarise yourself with your Student IT Welcome Pack. Including information on collecting your username, email address, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), software, the University VPN (virtual private network) and more. More information on Information Governance at the University is available on SharePoint. 

  • Explore the Digital Hub: Providing support on how to use all the digital tools we have available to us at the University of Exeter, including Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Office 365 etc. 

  • Access key university digital systems:  

  • MyExeter App: Download for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and view your academic timetable with real-time updates and tools to navigate campus or join online sessions. 

  • Microsoft 365 is a suite of tools available to University of Exeter students, including, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
