Black Theatre Live's tours are documented, archived and reported in a variety of ways. With Kings College London MA faculty and research students, we have commissioned a series of research papers to track the impact of the Black, Asian Minority Ethnic tours over the long term.

At a time when the arts are in flux and we have the opportunity to make big changes to the industry, it is important for us to begin to dismantle the hegemony of the British theatrical canon and expand it to include a multiplicity of identities, stories, practices and voices - all of which engage with and interrogate Britain’s colonial past.

Whats On Stage's central resource to give you ways to support the anti-racism movement, across the world, from the UK - donate, learn, educate, listen, watch, read and amplify the voices of charities and organisations and individuals. It will be updated regularly.

Academics for Black Survival and Wellness (A4BL) is a personal and professional development initiative for Non-Black academics to honor the toll of racial trauma on Black people, resist anti-Blackness and white supremacy, and facilitate accountability and collective action. A4BL also is a space for healing and wellness for Black people.

Tara Arts continues to maintain this website Black Theatre Live was a pioneering national consortium of 8 regional theatres led by Tara Arts, committed to effecting change nationally for Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic touring theatre through a sustainable 3-year programme of national touring , structural support and audience development which ended in 2018. Tara Arts continues to maintain this website to profile tours, companies and venues who programme touring theatre by Black, Asian Minority Ethnic artists.
