Accessing and Using Study Spaces

Information on study space arrangements currently in place to accommodate Covid-secure study

Easter opening hours - confirmed

The following study spaces will remain open throughout the Easter holidays:

  • Forum Library
  • Study Zone
  • The Loft
  • The Sanctuary
  • DH1
  • DH2
  • The Terrace


The following study spaces will be closed Friday 2 April - Monday 5 April but will then be open as usual from Tuesday 6 April:

  • Building One
  • Cross Keys
  • Forum Marquee
  • Giraffe House
  • Great Hall
  • Old Library
  • St Luke's (Haighton) library
  • Xfi


All other study spaces are due to be closed during the Easter holidays but demand will be regularly reviewed by the Study Spaces Group.

All undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and postgraduate research students, who have returned to term-time accommodation (private rental or University residences), can now be tested twice a week, every week. It’s fast and easy.
