Accessing and Using Study Spaces

Information on study space arrangements currently in place to accommodate Covid-secure study

Drop in Study Space - You can use drop in (or non bookable study spaces) throughout the day.  When you arrive, locate a desk and scan the QR code on the desk, then log your details for University Track & Trace purposes. 

These spaces are available Monday - Friday.  Please use our feedback form for any comments or suggestions. 

Building and link to campus map Area Description
Building: One, Business School 84 6I on map La Touché cafe Open M-F until 16:00 as a café. Outside of this, the space is used for studying.  You must register your location using the QR codes.
Cornwall House 32 6I on map ISCA eats & drinks café Open as a café. Outside of this, the space is used for studying.  You must register your location using the QR codes.
Cross Keys (St Luke’s campus) 3 on map Ground floor Open as a café. Outside of this, there are 32 spaces which can be used for studying.  You must register your location using the QR codes.
Devonshire House 2 6G on map Comida café, DH1 (ground floor) Open as a café. Outside of this, there are 30 spaces which can be used for studying.  You must register your location using the QR codes.

A mix of 26 desks.  With the very large desks, you may find that you are sharing with one other person. Most of the desks have power sockets. You must register your location using the QR codes.

Great Hall 1 6G on map Great Hall A mix of 115 small or large study desks with Perspex screens. You can eat in this space. Please note: there are no power sockets. You must register your location using the QR codes.
Harrison 23 4H on map Engine Room Open as a café. Outside of this, there are 20 spaces which can be used for studying.  You must register your location using the QR codes.
Institute of Arab & Islamic Studies 16 5E on map Common area (ground floor) A small area with 8 study seats adjacent to the kitchen facilitates.   You must register your location using the QR codes.
Innovation Centre 25 4I on map Café area Open as a café. Outside of this, the space is used for studying.  You must register your location using the QR codes.
Outdoor Marquee (Streatham campus) Forum north piazza Heated marquees used as an informal drop in space whilst you are on campus. You will find tables and chairs. You must register your location using the QR codes.

Queens 11 7F on map Café area Open as a café. Outside of this, there are 14 spaces which can be used for studying.  You must register your location using the QR codes.
Washington Singer 9 8E on map Near the Hub (ground floor) An open area which has kitchen facilities, and 4 study desks.  You must register your location using the QR codes.
