Accessing and Using Study Spaces

Information on study space arrangements currently in place to accommodate Covid-secure study

Bring your own device - Please bring your own computer (i.e. laptop) and ensure you have internet connectivity in your accommodation so that you can study remotely.  Study spaces which have power sockets are detailed in the booking system and you should bring your laptop or device with you if you wish to use a computer on campus.

Book a desk with a computer - There will be a very small number of computer study spaces on campus. There are far fewer than normal due to social distancing and to enable good cleaning practices, you can see these on the booking system.

Virtual desktop - We will make sure you have access to any specialist software you need for your studies virtually.

Help to buy a laptop - If bringing your own computer is financially difficult, you can apply for funds to buy computer equipment through the University's Success for All Fund.  All registered undergraduate and postgraduate University of Exeter students are eligible to apply, irrespective of fee-status. The fund will be open for applications later in August. Find out more www.exeter.ac.uk/financialhelp
