Accessing and Using Study Spaces

Information on study space arrangements

Bring your own device

Please bring your own computer (i.e. laptop) and ensure you have internet connectivity in your accommodation so that you can study remotely.  Study spaces which have power sockets are detailed in the booking system and you should bring your laptop or device with you if you wish to use a computer on campus.

Book a desk with a computer

There are a number of computer study spaces on campus.  These all have a webcam situated at the top of the screen.

Help to buy a laptop

If bringing your own computer is financially difficult, you can apply for funds to buy computer equipment through the University's Success for All Fund.  All registered undergraduate and postgraduate University of Exeter students are eligible to apply, irrespective of fee-status. The fund will be open for applications later in August. Find out more www.exeter.ac.uk/financialhelp

World to UK power adaptor

If you have a device with a non-UK three pin plug you can buy an adaptor at the Guild shop.  Alternatively you can borrow one from the library enquiry desks at Forum and St Luke's Libraries.
